New school uniforms are purchased from Pickles Schoolwear at Unit 38, Ground floor 42-48 Wattle Road, Brookvale.
PLEASE NOTE: It has come to our attention that Lowes have been offering school uniform items that they claim to be Manly Selective uniform. They are not. We have an exclusive arrangement with Pickles which is good for the school in many ways. Lowes are deliberately choosing to ignore this and taking the attitude “sue us” – expecting that it will all be too hard for a small local business like Pickles to take them on (which is true). We are not the only school that has been affected by this.
The best response is for us as a school community to support those that support us and continue to buy our uniforms from Pickles. Much more effective than any legal argument.
Year 11 and 12 boys now have a polo shirt for summer and there is a new skirt for the girls in the same material as the summer dress to be worn with a crested blouse. Thank you to Brenda Foggo for organising these new additions, to Kathie Mason for producing the brochure and to our student models.
Second Hand Uniforms
The second hand uniform shop sells quality second hand uniforms at a significant discount from retail prices. It is open the first Tuesday morning of the month during the school terms from 8:15 am – 9:15am and the third Thursday of the month at lunchtime (1.15-2.15pm).
It is located under the TAS block (the Harbord Rd end), and is run by Marg Martin and Chris Schaller.
Donated uniforms are always welcome. Please leave them at the school’s front office.
Contact Marg email@example.com or Chris firstname.lastname@example.org if you can’t make it during those times, as they may be able to make a special appointment or organise an order via email.
Second Hand School Blazers
There is an active trade in second hand School blazers which are worn by band members and when students are representing the school. Go to the band page for details.
